It is that time in my medical career when I must hunker down and study for the first part of my boards! It’s surreal that this moment has already arrived. I don’t feel ready, but I am going to do my very best to work hard and work intelligently these next 6 weeks. Unfortunately, this means a break from social media and blogging. Feel free to send some encouraging notes to my blog email: firstname.lastname@example.org if it so behooves you :). If you are a prayer warrior, your prayers are oh so greatly appreciated during this season of my life!
I am praying for all of my fellow second years out there who are taking step 1 and level 1. I pray that God gives you the self discipline, wisdom, diligence, focus, perseverance, and drive you need to prepare well. I pray that you are given His peace that surpasses all understanding, and that your confidence lies in the power of Christ whether you feel ready or not! Most importantly, I pray that no matter the outcome, you remember your identity as a child of God, which is worth far more than even a perfect score. No matter what happens, your future is bright.
See you on the other side 🙂 June 21!
